UNION OF TURKISH AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERS KONYA BRANCH The Association of Turkish Agricultural Engineers (TZYMB) was established in Ankara on 29 April 1939 in order to carry out scientific, intellectual and practical studies for the progress and development of the country s agriculture in line with the basic principles set out in the preamble of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, to ensure the social, cultural, economic and professional development of its members and to meet their needs, and was deemed to be one of the associations working for public benefit with the Decree of the Council of Ministers dated 11.08.1971 and numbered 7/2906. TZYMB is the first non-governmental organisation established in our country. Our headquarters is in Ankara and we have branches in 7 provinces and representative offices in 81 provinces. In Konya, which is one of the most important centres of Turkish agriculture and where there are many members of the Association who have professional experience and are experts in their fields, a branch of the Association was established on 10.09.1990.
